Leaving the UK on my birthday

On Monday 4th July I packed and sorted a few things out at home. Laura got home and then Dave, Nobby and Anne came round. A farewell chat with them all and then at 8pm Laura and I set off down the road for Heathrow. Got to a hotel for 10ish, a drink and then off to sleep.

Morning came a bit quick and whilst it was my birthday it was a difficult morning for Laura and I. The tears came and I went...see a piccy of the aeroplane. Due to leave at 10am, didnt get going till 10.50am. What a result on the flight....I got a row of 4 seats all to myself and got to lye down. Slept for 4 and a half hours and then only had an hour and a bit to go.

Arrived at 7ish local time and was relieved to find the temperature only at about 25c. Wasd suprised at how dark it was....it gets dark here at 6pm! Man from my hotel poicked me up and whisked me off to the Seef Residence......what to expect?
