working on my Sunday!!!

With the threat of going to Libya on Sunday and with a report needing to be sent out prior to me leaving I ended up going into the office on my Sunday (your Saturday). I thought it would be a morning only but due to the COMPLETELY different appraoch to report writing out here (basic English and spoon feeding come to mind - why write 10 pages if you can say it in 1, well turn the right the other way around) I was here until 5pm from 8am.

Got it done in the end and low and behold I am still here and its Sunday (thats Sunday for real, but my Monday). I now have a flight reserved to Libya for tomorrow morning but am awaiting a visa which the client is arranging.....how long is a peice of string! Oh, and the other thing is that at this time of year it is very busy (not sure why) in terms of people flying so there are no driect flights to Libya available. Preferable alternatives would be to fly via Dubai or Qatar but there are none of them available either! So its down to a flight to Cairo and then a transfer or Heathrow!!!!! Its would be 3 hours to Cairo with a 7 hour wait and then a further 2 hours to Libya. Your all thinking, well thats the better option surely but apparently Cairo is a bit of a dump of an airpoirt and everyone here reckons I should go to Heathrow which would 6 hours + 2 transfer and 5 - 6 hours to Libya! Whatever will be will be....

Ended the day with a game of tennis with the boss and Danny at the bosses compound - very nice. Must have lost a stone in an hour playing out here and then drank 2 whole litres of water when I got in.
